Ashlee Sandiford is an accomplished volleyball player and now current educator.

She grew up in Weyburn, SK where her volleyball career started. Ashlee began playing volleyball early on starting in junior high and then proceeded into high school where she lead her team to a third-place finish in SK. In her senior year, she played club for QCVC and proceeded to play Team Sask. Ashlee successfully finished playing 5 years with the University of Regina Women’s Volleyball team.

During this period, Ashlee received awards for academic and athletic accomplishments. Awarded Academic All-Canadian four years in a row while also breaking a University of Regina Women’s Volleyball career serving a record of 119 total aces. While playing, Ashlee demonstrated many pursuits in community service and was recognized for this by earning the Student-Athlete Community Service Award in her final year.

While at the U of R, Ashlee studied in the Faculty of Education with a focus on PreK-5 elementary where she currently practices teaching grade 6/7 in Regina, SK. Along with teaching, Ashlee commits her time to coaching her elementary school team as well as coaches amongst Summit Volleyball Club in Regina. Ashlee attributes many of her successes to the sport and continues to be involved where she can.
